1.1 Our furniture is made from solid wood, and accordingly appearances may vary. Wood can mellow with age and sunlight. When purchasing from Chocolate Frog Furniture you are buying hand finished furniture where varying degrees of distressing may occur.  

1.2 The Majority of our furniture is sold ready assembled, however some items may require minimal assembly, this has been to make minimal chance of damage in delivery. 

 

1.3 We try our best to display as accurately as possible the colour of our products, however we cannot be made responsible for the accuracy of the pictures or photographs that are shown. Monitor settings etc can affect the colouring of items on the website. 

 

2.1 We will not accept liability for any extra costs incurred by you as a result of measurements supplied, or minor altercations made by the supplier. 

 

2.2 All dimensions supplied by us are approximate to 2cms. 

 

3.1 All prices include VAT, where applicable, at the the prevailing rate, and are subject to any promotional offer or discount. 

 

3.2 The prices displayed on the website in relation to any on-line promotions are valid strictly until midnight on the day the promotion ends as determined by us. 

 

4.1 You must pay by credit or debit card at time of order. The price of any product is the price in force at the date and time of order. You undertake that all details that you provide to us will be correct. We reserve the right to obtain validation of your credit card or debit card before accepting your order. 

 

4.2 Payment will be taken in full at time of order. 

 

4.3 The contract shall not have been concluded until we have completed all of the following steps. We have received your valid credit/debit card details, we have accepted you on-line order and sent you conformation of payment by email to the email address supplied and that we have dispatched your goods to you. 

 

4.4 We are entitled to refuse any order placed by you. 

 

4.5 We reserve the right to cancel and refund your order, at any time. 

 

5.1 We endeavour to deliver any goods that you may have purchased within 10 days, but can not guarantee this delivery period. This may be due to location of the property. 

 

5.2 Orders of less than 30kg may be dispatched using a courier service. 

 

5.3 You are responsible for providing a safe means of access to the delivery address, failure to do this may result in refusal of delivery until safe means are provided. 

 

5.4 Any items that may arrive damaged, please contact Chocolate Frog Company within 48 hours and we will arrange replacement or credit. 

 

5.5 In the event that you arrange your own courier or decide to collect from our warehouse, please be advised that we accept no responsibly or liability for any damage to your goods.  

 

5.6 If you decide to cancel your order after it has been dispatched, but not delivered a delivery charge may still be charged. 

 

5.7 All orders are delivered by van with a single driver. Delivery is to the front door of the building. Delivery to flats above the ground floor may require help from the customer.  

 

5.8 Delivery to local areas is free of charge, any area outside 30 miles of Oakhanger will be charged (please contact us to check) 

 

6.1 You have the right to cancel your order within 48 hours from delivery. You must notify by email within 48 hours of delivery with your intention to return your goods. After notification we will contact you to arrange a collection date. 

 

6.2 We reserve the right to charge for any items that are not returned in the same condition that they were delivered. Please repackage the items to the best of your ability. 

 

6.3 Please be aware that any items returned to us may still be charged for delivery and possibly collection. 

 

6.4 Refunds for the goods will be wholly conditional upon the above conditions being met and the refund authorised only after full inspection of the goods to completeness and correct product return. 

 

6.5 After the 48 hours has expired we will be unable to accept returns of any items unless faulty. 

 

6.6 We will accept no liability for any damage or loss resulting from repairs attempted by you or a third party. 

 

7.1 We guarantee all products against faulty workmanship and/or faulty materials for a maximum period of 12 month from the actual date of delivery. However we reserve the right to inspect the product and verify the fault. 

 

7.2 These guarantees do not cover fair wear and tear and natural characteristics of wooden products, abuse or misuse of your goods in failing to correctly care for the furniture.  

 

7.3 We will arrange to repair or replace a defective or incorrect item free of charge. Should a replacement not be available it may be replaced by another item of similar style or cost.
